The T33 Inline activated carbon filter (also called a post activated carbon filter) is typically used as one of the final filter stages of a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system setup, although it can be used on other applications such as on the feed line for coffee machines or plumbed in water dispensers.

Activated carbon is a form of carbon that has been treated with oxygen to make it very porous, allowing for a larger surface area for chemical reactions to occur.

The carbon absorbs organic materials and Chlorine from the water it comes into contact with.

The water passes through the carbon filter, allowing the organic materials and chlorine to effectively bond with the carbon molecules, thus removing these from the water.

T33 is made with Premium Coconut Shell Based Activated Carbon

This activated carbon filter is often used as a Reverse Osmosis (RO) inline post filter. It clips on to the membrane housing and filters the water after the bladder tank, acting as a polishing filter.
