MQ-135 Air Quality & Gas Sensor Module

The MQ-135 Gas Sensor is a widely used air quality sensor designed to detect harmful gases and pollutants in the air. It is sensitive to gases such as ammonia (NH₃), nitrogen oxides (NOₓ), benzene, smoke, alcohol vapors, and carbon dioxide (CO₂). This makes it ideal for air quality monitoring, pollution detection, and environmental sensing applications.

The sensor features a high-sensitivity tin dioxide (SnO₂) sensing element whose resistance changes in the presence of target gases. It provides both analog output for gas concentration measurement and digital output (on module versions) with adjustable threshold via onboard potentiometer. The MQ-135 is commonly used in Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller-based projects.
